As Master of the vessel, you are responsible for ensuring the safety of crew and passengers, maintaining high standards of maritime professionalism by all crew, leading the shipboard organization, delivering exemplary customer service and managing the business performance of your ship.  You ensure the overall efficient operation of the vessel including responsibility for developing, forecasting, and balancing the overall budget for the vessel. 
 
You hold a Master, Local Voyage Certificate (Canadian) or greater supplemented by a minimum of one year post secondary education.  In addition, you have 3+ years’ experience as Master of a vessel over 350 GRT.  You are computer proficient with a good working knowledge of current software programs and are an innovative leader with a strong focus on customer service and corporate objectives.
